SUMMARY:Turkey Shoot hosted by Men's Ministry
DESCRIPTION:\n\nRules and regulations are provided.\n\nGFBC Staff reserves 
 the right to ask anyone to leave the property if the mentioned rules are b
 roken in any way.\n\nFirst and foremost for this event is Evangelism to sh
 are our Christian faith and invite others to follow Jesus. Second is SAFET
 Y. We will be using the NRA guidelines and safety rules which are:\n\n 	AL
 WAYS KEEP THE BARREL OF YOUR GUN POINTED IN A SAFE DIRECTION. Safe directi
 on is at the target or directly up when handling the firearm.  All firear
 ms must be placed on the designated table\, unloaded\, barrel pointed down
  range with an open breach when not on firing line. Firearms will be loade
 d only when on the firing line. All firearms will be unloaded before leavi
 ng the firing line. GFBC assistants will be monitoring participants to ens
 ure all rules of safety are followed.\n 	KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER 
 AND OUT OF THE TRIGGER GUARD UNTIL READY TO SHOOT. There is no reason to h
 ave your finger on the trigger if you’re not shooting. Keep it straight 
 until your shot. No exceptions!\n 	KEEP FIREARM UNLOADED UNTIL IN POSITION
  AND READY TO SHOOT. GFBC will issue participants a single shotgun round p
 er shooter\, per target.\n\nFor the Turkey Shoot\, we will have the follow
 ing procedure and rules of competition:\n\n 	Participants must sign a waiv
 er and agree that\, to the fullest extent permitted by the law\, GFBC\, it
 s organizers\, officers\, members\, volunteers\, and representatives will 
 not be held responsible or liable for any accidents\, injuries\, damages\,
  losses\, or damage to firearms or other personal property arising from or
  related to their participation in the event.\n 	.410-\, 20-\, and 12- gau
 ge shotguns are allowed. 36” max barrel length. No more than factory ful
 l choke.\n 	All guns will be checked by GFBC event staff. Guns may be chec
 ked more than once.\n 	You are responsible for your own gun. GFBC will not
  be held responsible for damaged firearms.\n 	No bipods\, tripods\, scopes
 \, lasers\, red dots or modified barrels of any kind. Iron sights only.\n 
 	Anyone caught cheating will forfeit the round\, will not receive prizes\,
  and be disqualified from further shoots.\n 	All decisions made by the GFB
 C staff are final.\n 	There are no refunds for any reason.\n 	For $5.00\, 
 each shooter will be issued a single target with a single shotgun round. N
 o outside ammo allowed. You must print your name on the back of the target
  when it is given to you.\n 	Shooters will be called to the line in groups
  of 10. When instructed\, participants will shoot two at the time\, collec
 t their target and present it to the GFBC member(s) for judging. No lane c
 ross shooting will be allowed.\n 	When it is your turn to shoot\, FOLLOW T
 HE INSTRUCTIONS OF THE GFBC RANGEMASTER. Do not handle firearms until inst
 ructed to do so.\n 	It is strongly encouraged to wear the proper personal 
 protective equipment i.e. safety glasses and hearing protection (not provi
 ded). GFBC will not be held responsible for any accidents or injury (acute
  or chronic) because of the blatant disregard for PPE.\n 	After all (10) p
 articipants have shot and presented their target to the judge(s)\, a singl
 e winner will be determined for that round. The judge(s) will have ultimat
 e discretion when scoring targets. There are no appeals. Their word is fin
 al. If two shooters are tied\, there will be a shoot-off until a winner is
  determined.\n\nPossession of alcoholic beverages and illegal drugs are pr
 ohibited on all GFBC property and associated parking lots.\n\nAnyone unrul
 y or suspected of being under the influence of alcohol or drugs will be im
 mediately expelled from GFBC property.\n\nAll firearms and ammunition may 
 be subject to inspection at any time. No “quick-draws”\, “shooting f
 rom the hip”\, or freelance shooting behavior will be tolerated. A perso
 n may shoot from the standing (offhand) position or sitting position.\n\nA
 nyone discharging a firearm in an unsafe direction or manner will be expel
 led from the property.\n\nHandling a firearm in an unsafe manner: 1st offe
 nse - person will be cautioned. 2nd offense - person will be expelled from
  the property.\n\nNo spectators allowed on the shooting line.\n\nShooters 
 requiring assistance of any kind should be communicated to the GFBC staff 
 regarding accommodation.\n\nChild shooters 12 and under must be accompanie
 d by their guardian. A “child round” may be conducted dependent on the
  number of participants.\n\n***Hamburgers\, hotdogs\, chips\, and drinks m
 ay be available for purchase.
